Arcane Technology Incubator Announces Strategic Partnership to Expand Into Africa

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Arcane Technology Incubator (ATI) has formed a strategic partnership with a Senegal-based nonprofit, marking ATI's first operational step into Africa.

The partner organization is the Association pour la Recherche Action Développement et Environnement au Sahel (ARADES), founded in 2012 and led by Dr. Abibatou Banda Fall. The partnership lays the groundwork for joint work in entrepreneurship, research, workforce development, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital skills training.

ARADES works with about 300 entrepreneurs, and more than 1,500 women entrepreneurs organized into business groups. The organization also partners with universities across Senegal and works with other groups throughout Africa. Through the partnership, ATI gains access to a team on the ground that can help run training programs, business incubation, research projects, and community initiatives.

The two organizations plan to roll out ATI training programs in Power BI, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, responsible AI use, digital entrepreneurship, and data-driven decision making. The programs will use a hybrid model, pairing global instruction with local coordination, recruitment and outreach led by ARADES and its partners.

The partnership supports ATI's Afrika ThinkTank initiative, which works to connect research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development across the continent.

This partnership will:

  • Connect ATI with a network of more than 300 entrepreneurs and 1,500 women entrepreneurs.

  • Build relationships with universities and innovation groups across Senegal and Africa.

  • Provide local support for entrepreneurship, training, and research programs.

  • Create a hybrid model to deliver Power BI, AI, and digital-skills training.

  • Lay the foundation for ATI's long-term work in Africa.
